Edw's Way with Habaneros


1 bowl of  vanilla ice cream, frozen yogurt,
rice dream
Several habanero peppers

"My claim to fame (rather than a recipe)
involves using hot peppers in new ways.

For example, one of my fave creations is to
take an habanero pepper, slice it really
thinly, then top vanilla ice cream with it.  The
hot/cool combo is out of this world delicious.

And when you don't have fresh habaneros
around, dried, ground, powdered cayenne
pepper does quite nicely as well, though it
lacks the  fruity, smoky complexity of a fresh
habanero."
